Uyoon-ul-Hikayat, Volume 2: A Collection of Stories of the Companions and the Righteous “Uyoon-ul-Hikayat” is a famous historical book written by Imam Abu al-Farah Abdur-Rahman bin Ali al-Jawzi رحمۃ اللہ تعالیٰ علیہ. It describes events, stories, and incidents linked to well-known figures, rulers, scholars, righteous people, and other famous personalities of Islamic history. The book presents these accounts in an engaging and simple style. The purpose of the book is to highlight the lives of the Companions رضوان اللہ تعالیٰ علیہم اجمعین, their followers, their successors, and the saints رحمھم اللہ علیہم اجمعین, using them as moral examples for the readers. The stories guide readers toward wisdom, knowledge, and a balanced lifestyle. “Uyoon-ul-Hikayat” also contains moral advice, decisions of rulers, and social stories that still inspire and guide readers today. The Translation Department of the Islamic Research Center has translated this book and presented it in a modern, easy-to-understand form. This book is the first volume of the series and consists of 413 pages. “Uyoon-ul-Hikayat Volume 2” includes 203 stories, such as the stories of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique, Hazrat Umar Farooq, Hazrat Ali al-Murtaza, and other Companions (رضوان اللہ تعالیٰ علیہم اجمعین).
