The booklet under review is a collection of forty (40) selected hadiths of the Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ, compiled by Islamic Research Center, Dawat-e-Islami. “40 Faramain-E-Mustafa (40 Sayings of the Prophet Muhammad صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ)” discusses prophetic traditions on various worldly and spiritual topics and their impact on the lives of Muslims. The booklet also presents various true stories and incidents, encouraging repentance and reform. So far, 4 successful editions of this booklet have been published, which have been immensely popular among the public. ‘40 Faramain-E-Mustafa صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ’ sheds light on many evils, such as usury, backbiting, immorality, and sedition, etc. In order to make the writing more effective, several true stories have also been included in this booklet, inviting readers to assess their personality and remove these evils. The fourth edition has included some new topics, such as: The Reward for the Abundance of Duroods, Atonement for Sins, Help from the Unseen, Repentance of the Usurer, A Backbiting Slave, Modesty is from Faith, and Condemnation of the Slanderer. The booklet ‘40 Faramain-E-Mustafa صَلَّى ٱللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ’ consists of 87 pages and encourages every sane and mature Muslim to avoid major sins.
